MOZA MRP Adjustable Damper.
The MOZA MRP Adjustable Damper is MOZA's own damper for the MRP rudder pedals. The brand states its job plainly: fine-tune the resistance of the travel to match the aircraft, from a helicopter to a heavy airliner, and make the control feel more believable as a result.
The damper is a compact cylinder: the body carries a rotary adjuster and a mounting eye with a bearing, while the shaft that leaves the bottom ends in a rod end. It sits between the pedal base and the swing arm, so it acts directly on the rudder axis. MOZA's official renders show it already fitted to the MRP, bolted into points that are part of the pedals themselves.
The division of labour matters: on the MRP, centring force comes from the interchangeable springs, while the damper shapes the character of the travel — it absorbs abrupt inputs and removes the empty feel as the pedals pass through neutral. The damper is not included with the MRP pedals and is sold separately; it has no use without the MOZA MRP pedals themselves.
Why pedals need a damper
Springs return the pedals to centre but do nothing about how fast they move: your foot overshoots neutral, and small corrections on the glideslope come out sharper than you want. A damper adds viscosity, so the force builds smoothly and the pedal no longer snaps through zero. MOZA describes the accessory's job as fine-tuning resistance to the aircraft type.

From a helicopter to a heavy airliner
Different aircraft want a different pedal character: a helicopter wants it lively and responsive, a heavy airliner wants it viscous and unhurried. The adjuster on the damper body changes the resistance without taking the pedals apart or swapping springs. Handy if your hangar holds a helicopter, a turboprop and a widebody.

Bolts into the MRP's own points
The damper sits between the cross base of the pedals and the swing arm: a bearing eye on the body, a rod end on the shaft, so it follows the arm freely through the whole travel. MOZA's official renders show it already fitted to the MRP. No modification is needed: the mounting points are part of the structure of the pedals themselves.

What to buy alongside
The damper is an accessory, not a standalone device: it works only with the MOZA MRP Rudder Pedals and is not included with them, as MOZA states in the pedals' own specifications. There are no electronics inside, nothing to plug in and nothing to configure in the simulator — all the tuning is mechanical, on the body adjuster.
