MOZA Table Clamp.
The MOZA Table Clamp is a desk mount for the MOZA R5, R9 and R12 direct drive wheel bases. It solves one specific problem: holding the base on the edge of a desk while a full cockpit is still out of reach. The clamps pull the base down onto the table, so the wheel stops shifting under load.
The bracket is CNC-machined from 5 mm high-strength steel, and MOZA rates it to take the maximum torque output of the R21 base. Multi-angle adjustment lets you set the tilt of the base to suit your height and your desk, while the 257.2 × 100 mm mounting plate provides several rows of fixing holes.
The clamps take desktops up to 50 mm thick, which covers most ordinary writing and computer desks. Selected parts of the kit can also be used to mount the base on an aluminium profile rig, so the mount does not go to waste once you build a cockpit.
Direct drive without a cockpit
The mount pulls the base onto the edge of the desk, so a direct drive wheel works at full strength without a dedicated cockpit. It installs in a minute and comes off just as quickly when you need the desk for something else. If you live in a flat and are not ready to give up a room to a rig, this is the shortest route to a proper wheel.

Five millimetres of steel
The bracket is made from 5 mm high-strength steel and finished on a CNC machine. MOZA built in a wide margin: the structure is engineered for the maximum torque of the R21 base, while the clamp itself is sold for the R5, R9 and R12. In practice that means the desk, not the mount, will be the weak link.

Desk first, profile rig later
Some parts of the kit are also designed to mount the base on an aluminium profile rig. Once you build a cockpit, the mount does not end up in a drawer: the slotted bottom plate moves onto the profile together with the base. A single solution covers both stages — the desk at the start and the rig later on.

Fits an ordinary desk
The clamps take desktops up to 50 mm thick, which covers almost every writing and computer desk, including thick solid-wood tops. The thumb screws tighten by hand, with no tools needed. Before installing, check that the edge of the desk is flat and can take the pull under load.
