SHARGE Braided USB-C Cable 240 W.
The SHARGE Braided USB-C Cable is the everyday cable for a desk or a bag. One and a half metres is enough to reach from the socket to the sofa, the back seat or the far side of a desk, and the black nylon braid looks tidy and does not knot itself up in storage.
The cable supports charging up to 240 W over USB-C Power Delivery, so a single lead covers a phone, a tablet, headphones and a laptop. The connectors sit in matte grey housings with ribbed strain reliefs at the bend points, and SHARGE rates the braid for more than 10,000 bends.
Check the chain before you buy: real power depends on the adapter and the device, and no charger is included. SHARGE does not publish a data-rate figure for this model, so treat it as a charging cable; video output needs a lead with USB 3.x or DisplayPort support.
One cable instead of three
A 240 W ceiling covers the whole USB-C lineup, from headphones and a phone to a work laptop. Device and adapter negotiate voltage and current between themselves, so the same lead plugs into either one.
That helps when travelling: one cable in the bag instead of several. The charger is chosen separately, and it is the charger that decides how much power the laptop actually receives.

A braid rated for 10,000 bends
The nylon weave keeps its shape and does not crack where the cable flexes. SHARGE rates the braid for more than 10,000 bends — a sensible figure for a cable that is coiled and packed every day.
Ribbed strain reliefs at each end support the braid right where the cable bends next to the housing.

The E-Marker chip and PD 3.1
The cable carries SHARGE's own E-Marker chip: it tells the adapter which current is allowed and, in SHARGE's words, protects the connected device from electrical damage. Negotiation is automatic, with nothing to set up.
The 240 W rating applies to Power Delivery 3.1, the top step of the USB-C standard. Real charging power equals the lowest of three figures: what the adapter gives, what the cable passes and what the device accepts.

One and a half metres of working length
One-metre cables fall short of a socket behind the desk; three-metre ones tangle underfoot. At 1.5 m the cable works at home, in the office and in the car.
The black braid and matte grey connector housings sit quietly next to a laptop instead of standing out on the desk.
