SHARGE Disk Pro 2 Ultra.
The SHARGE Disk Pro 2 Ultra is both an enclosure for an M.2 NVMe drive and a six-port hub in a body the size of a playing card: 92.6 × 59.2 × 13.5 mm, about 72 g. It magnetically attaches to the back of a phone or sits beside a laptop, and a detachable lanyard cable replaces the soldered-in cable of the previous generation. It is built for people who shoot on a camera or phone and sort the footage on the move.
You fit your own M.2 NVMe drive in the 2230, 2242 or 2280 format with a B&M key, up to 8 TB. A single Torx screw holds the shell, and the screwdriver and screws are in the box, so a swap takes about half a minute. The USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface runs at up to 10 Gbps (around 1,050 MB/s): SHARGE measures 100 photos in roughly 5.5 seconds and a 70 GB game file in about 76 seconds. To keep speed from sagging during long jobs, a fan spins at up to 12,000 RPM with AUTO, TURBO and OFF modes.
The port set: two USB-C (one host port delivering up to 80 W of PD, one 10 Gbps data port accepting up to 100 W of PD in), USB-A 3.0, HDMI, plus SD 3.0 and microSD 3.0 slots. On the Ultra, HDMI 2.1 outputs 4K at 144 Hz or 8K at 30 Hz, cards read at up to 180 MB/s and write at up to 120 MB/s, and minimum power draw is 1.5 W — useful when the hub hangs off a phone with no external power. The drive itself is not included; double-sided or unusually thick SSDs and modules with non-removable heatsinks may not fit.
A hub the size of a playing card
The 92.6 × 59.2 × 13.5 mm body weighs about 72 g and slips into a jeans pocket or the side compartment of a backpack. Magnetic mounting holds it on the back of a phone, and a metal sheet is included for models without a magnet ring.
The cable is no longer soldered in as on the first Disk Pro: the short USB-C lanyard detaches, so you can swap it for any cable of the length you need.

Your drive, your capacity
The Disk Pro 2 Ultra ships without a drive: you fit your own 1, 2, 4 or 8 TB M.2 NVMe and pay the market price for memory instead of a pre-built bundle. Boards in 2230, 2242 and 2280 with a B&M key are supported.
One Torx screw holds the shell: open the cover, drop the board in, tighten the screw — about thirty seconds. The screwdriver and spare screws are already in the box. Double-sided or unusually thick SSDs, and modules with non-removable heatsinks, may not fit — worth checking before you buy memory.

A fan instead of throttling
Compact NVMe enclosures usually heat up and throttle on large files. This one has a fan running at up to 12,000 RPM with three modes: AUTO adjusts itself, TURBO holds maximum airflow through a long offload, and OFF silences it when you need quiet.
In SHARGE's own measurements the enclosure kept the drive below 45 °C, and a thermal test after 15 minutes of sustained read/write peaked at 35.1 °C.

10 Gbps: less waiting at the laptop
The USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface runs at up to 10 Gbps — around 1,050 MB/s. SHARGE measures a hundred photos in roughly 5.5 seconds and a 70 GB game file in about 76 seconds; over a 5 Gbps link the same hundred shots would take around 12 seconds.
Real speed depends on the SSD you install and the host port, so a USB 3.2 Gen 2 or faster port is needed for the maximum.

Ultra or Lite: the difference
The body, ports, fan and SSD bay are identical on both versions. The Ultra differs in three ways: HDMI 2.1 with 4K at 144 Hz and 8K at 30 Hz instead of HDMI 2.0 with 4K at 60 Hz, a faster card reader (up to 180 MB/s read and 120 MB/s write versus 100 and 90 MB/s), and a 1.5 W minimum draw instead of 5 W.
That last point matters most in practice: at 1.5 W the hub runs more reliably straight off a phone when there is no outlet nearby.
