SHARGE MagLoop Cable 240 W.
The SHARGE MagLoop Cable is a USB-C to USB-C cable for charging laptops, tablets and phones. Magnetic strips are built into the braid, so the cable gathers itself into a tidy loop instead of turning into a knot in your bag or desk drawer. Two lengths are available: 1 m and 1.5 m.
Maximum power is up to 240 W. The built-in E-Marker chip negotiates the charging mode with your adapter and device. Data transfer runs at 480 Mbps, which covers syncing and moving documents or photos. SHARGE Lab rates the braided jacket for 10,000+ bends, and the nano-coating resists stains and wipes clean easily.
Check your charging kit before you buy: 240 W is only reached when both the adapter and the device support the matching USB-C Power Delivery modes. For the laptop scenario SHARGE specifies an adapter of 140 W or more, and no charger is included with the cable. Video output and fast transfers of large archives need a cable with USB 3.x support instead.
A loop instead of a knot
Magnetic strips run along the whole length of the cable. Bring the coils together and MagLoop holds its ring shape, so it does not unravel inside a backpack.
That saves a little time every day: no untangling before charging, no twist tie afterwards. Because magnets hold the coils, the braid is not forced to bend in the same spot each time.

240 W and the E-Marker chip
The cable is rated up to 240 W, the ceiling of USB-C Power Delivery. Its built-in E-Marker chip tells the adapter how much current is allowed and settles on a mode that suits the connected device.
The practical result is simple: one cable covers phone, tablet and laptop. For its fast laptop-charging figure SHARGE specifies a charger that puts out 140 W or more, which you pick separately.

Two lengths for two setups
The 1 m version suits a monitor, a desk and travel, where extra coils only get in the way. The 1.5 m version helps when the socket sits far from the sofa or the back seat.
Both lengths share the same construction and the same power ceiling, so the choice comes down to the distance to your outlet.

A braid built for daily carry
In SHARGE Lab testing the MagLoop jacket survived more than 10,000 bends; SHARGE notes that the real figure depends on how the cable is used. For a cable that goes into a bag every day that is a sensible margin.
The surface carries a nano-coating, so coffee or hand-cream marks wipe off and the lighter colours stay tidy for longer. Ribbed strain reliefs support the cable right where it bends most often.
